I have had this stove for over 10 years. What I love best about it is the simmer control and attached tank (no need to carry extra fuel bottles for a regular weekend trek). It is also very stable and can take some abuse. But I have found problems in the cold whether (less than 35degrees). It may be because it's old, but it will not hold pressure. If I forget to put it in the bottom of my sleeping bag the night before, I am not enjoying warm food the next morning. Customer Service never used in 10 years, time for a new stove. I have had this stove for about 7 years and have had hardly any problems. It can be a little heavy and a little bulky but it is worth it. Mine has been beat to hell and still works great. If it gets wet it does take a little while to work at 100% again but it will. I would buy this stove again without hesitation for general mountaineering and backpacking. Similar Products Used: None |
