This stove was priced low, so I bought it. It gives a satisfying, strong blue flame. It boils a liter of water in a very short while. Annoying design 1)the stove does not shut off at the wire control valve at the stove itself. The gas regulator at the gas cylinder shuts it off. 2) The lowest setting for the simmer is not low enough. The flame is still large at the lowest. 3) The wire support and the cylinder takes up a rather large space. 4) if you tighten the sleeve at the end of the stiff hose at the connection point before you arrange the position of the cylinder, the cylinder would not stay stable. You have to loosen the sleeve, position the cynlinder and hose steady on the ground, then tighten the sleeve. 5) the windscreen tape around the burner is welded crooked, and it causes the pot to list to one side. 6) The stove weight is too light compared to the stiff hose and the propane cylinder. It does not feel balanced as you handle it. Although the stove performs at A+, it is a little annoying in the design department. I would not have bought it at the MSRP. Even thought I bought it at half the MSRP, I rarely use it. Customer Service Never needed it. Similar Products Used: Coleman Peak 1 400 |
