I just got back from a 9 day trip on the Bartram Trail in North Carolina. After reading numerous favorable reviews, I got the Coleman Inyo Solo because it is 2lbs lighter than the 2 man tent I have. I had 4 nights and 1 morning of moderately heavy to heavy rain. This tent did not leak a drop! The Coleman Inyo is definitely a best buy! Similar Products Used: Eureka Apex 2A |

This is the only tent I could find that suited my needs as an ultra-low weight bike-tourist. By that I mean travelling with only a tent, sleeping bag and foam pad strapped to the back rack. It's small size made it ideal and I would recommend it for any solo camper, or 2 people minus gear. Occasionally woke up rather wet from condensation, but otherwise no problems. Tent withstood rain and high winds (although never at the same time) Looking at what others paid, I think I got fleeced and so my value rating reflects that. Still a great buy - paid for itself very quickly. |

I bought this tent as a solo tent (you have to be REAL close to fit 2!). Lightweight at 4 lbs, it's easy to set up and very roomy for 1. On one hand, the almost all mesh tent is great for summer camping, on the other hand condensation can be a problem when the temps are below freezing. All in all, a very good tent at a great price. I'm well satisfied! Customer Service None required so far. Similar Products Used: Kelty Vortex 2, Eureka Mountain Pass 2XT |

Overall, a great tent. For the price, weight, and size, it is a wonderful tent for any backpacker. The only downside is that it has only one pole so you need good ground to stake into, but otherwise, this tent is great. Haven't had any problems so far, but like it's been said, it'd be a good idea to buy a small tarp to place under it to keep it from getting damaged. Customer Service Haven't had to use it. None I looked long and hard at the spec sheets for lightweight tents for myself and possibly another person and the Inyo kept coming up as the best value in terms of weight, function, and price. It''s small to pack, weighs only 4 lbs, has dual entry doors, two large vestibules on either side and only costs $80. I looked at bivy tents for ultra low weight, but after considering their price, space, they aren''t significantly lighter than this Inyo. Space would be tight for two people (I''ve only used it by myself), but I think the weight justifys it. Setup takes about 4 minutes. My only complaint is that it''s not free standing as it''s only got one pole so you must have good ground to stake in to. Conclusion: if your''re primary concern is weight, and camp by yourself (or another person you''re cozy with), the Inyo can''t be beat for the price. Oh, buy some extra lightweight aluminum stakes, these can bend easy if not careful. Customer Service No need yet. Similar Products Used: REI Terradome, Sierra Design Perigine |

None Perfect backpacking tent and i say that because you can actually stick it in a regular sized backpack and have room left over for everything else.about as big as a 2-liter bottle.Lots of room for one. Very cool design. Coleman has had the basic design for awhile now and has had lots of time to improve on it. Also check out the coleman exponent sleeping bags.they have mummy bags that close up to half the size of the tents. Customer Service None Similar Products Used: None really. I usually buy Walmart trash. |

For the price it can't be beat! I use it for kayaking and for flying around the country. At 4 lbs it is a great single person and acceptable 2 person shelter (if both folks are small to medium size). The inyo is an improved version of the cobra b/c of the pole talons and the 1500 mm coating on the rainfly versus the 800 mm coating. The additionally coating should make the tent last longer. I bought a set of sierra designs grip clips ($10) to use on the fly to make it tighter in heavy rain and high winds. With 2 vestibules, all mesh body, dual opposing doors, a single pole, and a pack size that is smaller than a loaf of bread it is well worth the $. Final tip, get yourself a sturdy ground cloth (tarp from the local hardware store $4) and you should be well pleased. Similar Products Used: None |

I bought this tent lest year, also known as the (Peak1 Cobra), as a lightweight, alternative to my heavy 4 season tent. The tent only has one pole and sets up in well under 2 min., with a bit of practice. The body of the tent is completely mesh so condensation is nonexistent. On hot sticky nights this is the most comfortable tent I have slept in, just roll up the doors and let the breezes flow. Customer Service Have had no need to.
