Actually I am a motorcycle (BMW) camper. Have used the 7x7 Sundome for years with no problems, well made but also cheap, a great value. Many features like hanging pockets, screens, easy to set up. Customer Service no need. |

I used this tent for a 9-day bike ride around Victoria (Australia) during spring and it held up very well against wind and rain just about every day. I was surprised by its durability when it stood through two reasonably violent thunderstorms, too. My partner and I stayed dry throughout the entire trip. This tent fits a double mat with enough space for gear plus the head-space was useful during pack up and pack down. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone car camping.

I heave recently used the Coleman Sundome 10x10 tent on a week long capming trip. It rained like crazy. All the other people in my party had tents that poured water in. They ended up having to put canopys over theirs or either tarps. Mine was completly dry. It rained for 3 days straight. Two of the 3 days were HARD rain. When I took the tent down, there was a puddle of water under it. Cant believe it didnt come in. I did use the spray to spray the rain fly and tent. I did not use the seam sealer but I applied it once I got back home. Would purchase another one. I hope this tent holds up for years to come |

I purchased the 7 X 7 model for an overnight "backyard" camp out. I was able to fit a king-size air mattress inside. It covered the entire floor, but that was fine since we were just using it for sleeping. We were expecting rain that night, so we needed something to keep us dry. It rained very hard that night, and the tent leaked like crazy! Water was literally dripping from the ceiling, coming through the fabric at the seams! Totally worthless! There was about a 6-inch tear in a seam when we put it up the very first time, and I also noticed an arrow sticker like is used to point out flaws on clothing, etc., marking what looked to be a slight flaw in the fabric of the rainfly. This tent is going back to the store! If we had been on a "real" camp out and had not been able to go indoors, we would have had to spend the night in the car or gotten soaked! Other reviewers said the tent protected well in rain. Not sure why mine was such a disappointment, but it sure didn't keep the rain out. |

This is Coleman's 5 person tent. I researched it and found it from Consumer Reports. Loved the tent. I'm NOT a camper, but this made at least the tent part of camping both easy and stress free. Great buy for the $$$ and I Circuit City carried it (of all places)at the lowest price. I paid a small fee to have it delivered within days, and sure enough it arrived within the time frame stated. So, I'm happy with the tent and the store that I purchased it from. |

I bought this tent as a 7x5 tent for my gear and I and has worked perfectly for sleeping in at night. It will fit 2 single air mattresses but it will fit 1 double with extra space for gear. |

This tent will be in its 5th season of use and will be passed down to our daughter and her friend. This tent has performed great for me and my wife, our daughter and the dog. (I bought the big boy of course). We remote camp for 10 days a summer (boat in only), and this tent has been exceptional especially in wet weather. When my fist can't touch the ground in the middle of the tent because of the water and we are dry, that says something. I use seam sealer every year but my daughter and the dog are getting bigger so time to upgrade. |

this is a very inexpensive tent that has held up beautifully for over 10 camp trips so far with kids. I did use seam sealer, but it amazed me one night that we stayed completely dry in a torrential downpour and high winds...can't beat that! |

Good and durable tent for the money. My only complaint is that the extra large side vents let in a lot of wind when it is windy, even with the fly on. |
