I purchased this tent last fall and used it during kayaking trips in southern Missouri and Arkansas.It performed with out fail.Even during high humidity the tent showed no sings of condesation due to the awesome venting systems of Dana Design.It handled the heavy rains and high winds associated with the midwest thunderstorms with out a complaint.
Early this May I took it to Colorado to use at base camp while we climbed some of the fourteeners.This tent,again worked flawlessly.While at the base of Democrat we encountered very heavy winds.The tent did not flinch!The tent was used above 11500ft(near tree line)on four other mountains.We encountered rain,sleet,snow and well below freezing temperatures with no signs of leaking or condensation build up(did I mention this tent vents well?).The vestibule in the front of the tent is huge.It can hold a ton of gear.The rear vestibule will hold a few pair of dirty boots(very small).The tent seems very large for two people,but three people may be too many unless your all in love.It has a small gear pocket on the ceiling that holds a headlamp perfectly for hands free gear juggeling.The colors are bright and light up the interior on all but the darkest days.I don't know if I would pay retail for this tent(I paid less then half)but I would pay more then I did with hindsight.To sum it up,this is one bombproof super tent that has too many attributes to list.I would recommend this tent to any backpacker or mountaineer looking for a sturdy bombproof shelter.

This tent is one tough tent. I set it up the first day and layed on top of it to see if it would hold my weight. It did!!! It says 2+, but I have alwasy had three comfortable in it. The draw back is the pole sleeves. It is tough to put up with the pole sleeve because the tent is so tight. If you hate pole sleeves, then stay away from this one. I am a clip tent guy, but wanted to try a Dana Designs tent. I am satisfied. I got a great deal on the tent from where I worked. I would not pay retail for this tent though.

Great tent with cool vents. VERY roomy. Fits me plus girlfriend and 70 lbs dog and gear. Drawback is took me 3 days to seal rainfly in my living room a section at a time. There is like a million seams. Takes twice as long to setup as Mountain Hardware Trango2. But is built like a tank. Excellent quality throughout. What makes this tent rule is it is an absolute STEAL at $250 at northernmountain.com. Is almost as good as a trango for half the price. (Ihave both). Seems bigger inside than Trango and is same weight. This overall is a killer tent.
