I bought this tent because it was on sale and boy do I regret it. The quality of the stitching and materials suck! On my first trip the fly zipper ripped off the fly, the sake out loops started coming apart, the floor and fly leaked horribly, and when the wind kicked in no amount of guying could keep that thing from doing the jig. I took it back to EMS and they reluctantly took it back. I've had nothing but bad experiences with my EMS gear. Next time I will stick to REI when buying store brand gear.

Customer Service

EMS customer service sucks. They took my tent back but only after arguing with them for 10 minutes. They claimed that it was used improperly. All I did was sleep in the darn thing! And they tried to tell me that I don't know how to set up a tent! I've been backpacking for 10 years in any kind of weather imaginable. I have more experience than their whole staff combined! The salespeople know nothing about the gear or backpacking. I think I saw some of them working at Footlocker the week before. And those of you who thought they were from NH, guess again, a rich family in Europe owns them.

One of the best overall tents i've seen. The quality is surprisingly superior to many other top of the line products. Great ventilation, water tight, excellent room. The vestibule is fantastic and has a dual option system with a hoop. Great value for the money.

I have used this tent for a total of 30 days on the trail in every season. This tent is bombproof. I have been in snow, 2-day rain, and the summer heat and this tent has awnsered the challenge every time. It is a little warm in the summer, but the dual door ventilation is great and the slightest breeze can access you. This is a free standing tent and is a little heavy (just over 8 lbs.). I would recommend this tent for anyone looking for a two person, WEATHER-PROOF shelter.

Customer Service

EMS has the best customer service in the business. They have a very agreeable and easy return policy and very fair pricing on their merchandise.

Great Tent. I set it up in the complete darkness last summer having never played with it before in no time at all and had a breezy great night. On the other end, it was wonderful in three feet of snow on the AT last winter. A bit heavy and bulky, but well made and a great price. A pity EMS no longer makes it, although their new line of tents are awesome.

Customer Service

Not sure what that guy above is talking about, he probably walked in with a real bad attitude. EMS staff are courteous, knowledgable and always willing to lend you a hand especially when something goes wrong or is defective.

I've used this tent on many trips. I;ve had it in downpours and dumpings of rain and snow and this tent has peformed verry well. The tent breaths well and is verry warm in winter. I do most of my travels in the winter and i love this tent. My only complaint, is the fact that it is heavy... Im thinking of looking into somthing a bit lighter, like a bibler or moss. It's going to be a bit more pricy but i think the weight saved will be well worth it

The first time I used it I had anther person with me and their tent broke so we both used mine. By moring the tent was like a blanket of frost inside. This has been the worst of it. The next night I was in it alone it was fine. If you haven't got the problem I have with yet it is the ventalatin. If you have all flaps colosed it doesn't vent at all. But the time when I could have them open it was great. The tent would be a good buy for any light backparker or winter camper but I wouldn't want it if I went like for weeks at a time.

Customer Service

They are great at EMS I have had NO problems ever there.

This tent kicks some serious a$$! I bought it last year but never got around to using it. So, this year my wife and I decided to use it on Cape Cod for the weekend. Boy, did it work out great! The first night it went down to about 35 degrees, and the tent was nice and warm; not humid and stuffy, but just right. Using the fly helped out a lot with the insulation. The second night it was in the 40's, and the tent was actually hot! There were no problems here. The dual vestibule system works out great: gear in the large front hoop vestibule, boots in the rear vestibule. Ventilation was good; my only complaint was that there was condensation on the inside to the front vestibule the second morning, but the sun burned that off later. Overall, I'm exceptionally pleased with this tent, and find it a shame that they're not made anymore!

Customer Service

EMS's customer service is the best. I've seen worn boots and shoes on the clearance aisle from customer's returns!

Simply put, this tent kicks ass. I bought it last summer as a smaller tent to use with just my wife and I when we're camping on our own w/o friends. Unfortunately, I couldn't get out to use it, until this last weekend. When the temperatures got down to the mid-30's, this tent performed!! It was even hot when the nighttime temps were in the 40's! The fly has great insulating abilities, and the 2 vestibule system is awesome; room for gear in the front, boots in the back. Overall, 2 people and a small dog spent a very happy weekend in it. The only problem I had was that there was some condensation on the inside of the fly one morning, but the sun evaporated it off before too long.

Customer Service

The BEST!!! They will take back everything you bring them within reason.
