This tent is the best tent I have ever owned. The dual doors make this tent easy to get into, you don't have to climb across the other person. Also, the mesh wall and ceiling make this tent perfect for stargazing on clear nights. If the weather gets ugly just strap on the fly with vestibules and keep dry. THis is the only tent I currently own, and its the only tent I need. I feel like adventurejournalgraphic.com gave me a great deal. Customer Service adventurejournalgraphic.com gave me a great deal. My tent was shipped fast and my entire order was shipped free. I highly recommend going to adventurejournalgraphic.com. Great service, great prices, and a lot of information. I bought this tent last summer and used it all season long. No vestibule, rainfly offers minimal coverage. No protection on lower section of D-door zipper, allowing the rain to run in. I've also had water drip through the rainfly an into the tent through the vents. I'm upgrading to a Sierra Designs or Mountain Hardwear. Similar Products Used: Eureka Timberline |

This tent is roomy, easy to set up, and good in the rain. I've had problems with condensation in the winter; the only way to eliminate it seems to be opening the door slightly. In the wind this thing is nothing short of a sail. In a winter storn I was holding it by the corner while it flew in the air like a kite. It had all of my gear inside it. |

Bought this tent the day after Christmas. Set it up the first time in my rec room. Noticed the ads showed a yellow tent, mine is green. Bag says Apex, not Apex 2. But, the tent is great. Easy to set up, waterproof and actually big enough for my wife and I with our gear inside. Lightweight for packing on my motorcycle. Been through several storms with no problems. Might change to Alum poles for weight, but so far no trouble with the 'glass ones. For $50, how can you do better. They had one left and the clerk said they had sold over twenty in the last two weeks. Very happy with it. Customer Service Nothing needed Similar Products Used: WalMart dome tent... much too big for the motorcycle but plenty of room. |

I just got back from a 3 day fishing trip at a lake deep in pine woods. It was the 4th time I've used this tent and the first in heavy weather. It took 8 inches of rain in a 2 day period and 14 hours of continuous downpour. There was some bursts of wind but nothing over 20 mph. I stayed completely dry with good ventilation and no condensation. The noise kept waking me up and I was checking for water around my gear. Finding none I fell back asleep each time. The double zipped door system is great. This was 100.00 well spent. Customer Service Not needed yet Similar Products Used: 30 year old Eureka Timberline |

Good tent over all but not worht the m0ney. the worst part is the rain fly the starpes slide right through the buckles that hold it to the tent. I alsmost lost it one night ina wind. I also dont like the way the tent hoks into the holes on the botem of the poles, you have to realy strech to keep them in when you first sart out and get the first to in. It will let water in if your ina trenchal rain storm with wind the fly opens just right and lets water theough the vents |

Weakness:
None I bought this tent 3 years ago and it has slept 2 guys on several occasions. It is now back up tent because I got lighter smaller more packable coleman cheap. It is a little tight for two average size guys and you have to keep your gear outside. My first packing trip i didn''t cover anything but my boots and my whole pack was soaked. It isn''t as tight as I''d like it to be and it gets quite a bit of condensation in the winter with two people in it. It''s a lite sturdy tent for the price. It''s weathered more than 1 rainstorm and it even kept me and my buddy dry in a January ice storm. It is a little larger to pack than I''d prefer for my usually solo trips. Customer Service dunno, never needed any. Similar Products Used: coleman peak one inyo or cobra (same thing.) |

Purchased the Apex2 for motorcycle camping. The tent's very good quality and a very good buy. It's great for one person because you have plenty of room for your gear. If you have two in the tent plan on your gear staying outside or you will be crowded. Packs very small. Easy to put up by yourself. You can upgrade to aluminum poles and get it even lighter than it's already lite weight. One door. Plenty of breezeways. No vestibules Similar Products Used: Eureka Aur. 4 |
