I have used this tent in both cold and warm weather and have been nothing but happy with the performance. I had been set on purchasing a North Face tent for quite a while but was pulled in by the 3 poles, dual doors, and ample space features this tent offers. I am 6'6" and have a hard time finding good equipment that fits. This is definitely an exception. Customer Service Similar Products Used: North Face |

I have had an opportunity to use this tent about six times over a two month period. I have been through drenching rains from the trailing rain bands of a hurricane and through the ""Florida cold"" of approximately 40 degrees and a 20 mph wind. The tent has performed well. The items I had in the vestibules were dry, the rain/wind fly protected the interior from the cool wind. The door openings are pretty good, but could be a bit bigger. The ease of setup, velcro on the rain fly for attaching it to the tent poles to ensure correct setup are a plus. Apparently this is a closeout tent and several auctions and distributors are discounting quite well. I paid $109 (incl shipping). I compared this tent to the APEX 2XT and this is larger and has a few nicer features. Because of the auction, I paid about $30 less than some frients and they got the APEX 2XT. I have noticed that the yellow fabric does attract a few bugs. Similar Products Used: Eureka APEX 2XT |

I tried the tent on a 8 days 4x4 expedition in the Israeli deserts and the tent performed really well. Temperatures were ranging from 8 Celsius at night to over 30 Celsius in the day. Ventilation was good, never had condensation even at 800 meters cold nights. Similar Products Used: None |

I got this tent fairly cheap on closeout and have been nothing but happy with it. I'm 6'6" and the big draw for me was the large floor space, which it has quite a bit of. The rainfly has worked very well in some rather intense rain on the Oregon coast through Christmas. I've only tried it in light snow so far. I suspect it will do well in most conditions except maybe in heavy winds. Great tent for the money. |
