Purchased Eureka Teragon 8 for Boy Scouts. Very easy to set up even in wind. Used two nights in a field with 1/2" rain fall and 30 mph wind gust. No leaks no problems. Would only use in 40+ temperatures due to a lot of mesh on the sides (no way to hold heat unless you have a 0 degree mummy bag) Slept three comfortably with all gear inside. A very good starter tent. Three main pieces of tent (poles, Fly, tent) could be divided up for hiking/ Backpacking. Similar Products Used: Eureka Timberline |

We bought the 8x8'last year for our daughter. She loves it & has had no problems. She has been thru 2 strong rain storms with no leaks. I had to seam seal the fly & corners 3 times to make it water-proof. It has the same poles as the 7x7', but does not seam to be as stable. Customer Service No Similar Products Used: lst tent |

I wanted something that I could Car camp with my wife, child and dog. I bought the Terragon 9. I only got to use it twice. The first time the floor leaked at all the corners and the side tie downs. The rain fly had amall leaks too. Re-seam sealed for the second trip and poles snaped during a gust of wind. Left us stranded in a down pour. The seams didn't leak the second time. (Just kidding. Never got to verify)I would guess it would be great if you were in a wind protected area and double sealed the leak points. Interior size and ease of set up were good. Have to be tall for top clips though. Customer Service Did not bother to call. The box, clearly states not for the conditions that snaped the poles.
