I used this tent as my home away from home for two years, basically bus camping. The tent is a superb value! But, it is super heavy, cannot resist sidewinds/wet snow, and is basically disposable.

I was surprised no other Minnesota paddlers had reviewed this tent. It is the primary tent used in the Boundary Waters by outfitters. We just purchased our second one. The first one held up very well with about 200 days in the Boundary Waters (known for small tent pads, and unmoveable rocks and roots). My major complaint is the older zippers - on our first one they kept getting stuck in the rain flap which covered the zipper (tearing it more than once) and now they have failed (the zippers will no longer hold) The reason we bought our latest one is because Eureke has improved them (much more durable now, and much larger). We also seemed to have problems with water but that was more our fault - we now use a tarp on the inside of tent.
