Out grew out Eureka Sunrise 9 (great tent)and purchased their Titan tent. While much bigger, I was amazed how easy it was to set up by myself for the first time. Not one hitch. Directions were easy and clear, however, I am a seasoned camper so I'm sure the experience came in handy. Looks great with many positive comments. Roomy with good ventilation making it good for hot weather. Zippers were the best quality I've seen. Smooth with no catching. Never got wet inside though never experienced high winds. Eureka manufactures a quality product. While more expensive than some tents, you get what you pay for. Highly recommend. Customer Service Just new with no problems. It was important to know that Eureka is very customer oriented and known for their service. Similar Products Used: First 2 tents were Coleman (7x7 and 7x9). No major complaints but Eureka was better quality and more waterproof. Purchase Eureka Sunrise 9 (9x9) that I still use when solo camping during the guy weekends. |

My husband and I are not campers - we bought the tent as our "bedroom" at my family's lake property. We set it up on a sand beach and lived in it for a solid two weeks. We had mostly ideal weather, but the tent withstood a few major downpours and windy conditions. This is a luxury tent. We loved it. |

After much research, we ordered this tent. Pros: -Big tent. Sustains weather fine (just make sure all the rain flaps are up. -Assembles quickly (one can do it, but two are better) -We use one section for gear, one for sleeping. Easily accomodates a couple of air mattresses -Two exit doors, front and rear -Has rings to hang stuff on -Plenty of pouches to put stuff in Cons -Set it up at home on a windy day and two of the support poles bent. Customer service let us know that all Eureka tents are now made in China (which makes no sense, as Chinese are capable of making tents out of quality materials, providing they have proper guidelines. They did send a new pole (made of different & better metal - Must be leftover US grade material) -Zippers on flaps are not consistent. One of the zippers "bites" into the screen mesh, another bites into nylon flap Overall, we're satisfied. Time will tell... It's a large tent Customer Service Very helpful in sending new pole, but lame excuse for reduced quality of materials. Similar Products Used: Had an old Eureka that was smaller. |

Very tough tent! Survived an extreme thunderstorm at Goose Island State Park (Rockport, TX area) a couple of years ago.Was the only tent in the park that weekend that didn't suffer severe damage...minor bent poles. Texas Parks and Wildlife Ranger told us 6o+ tents destroyed at nearby Matagorda Island that weekend. Great family tent, easy to set up, I always use a tarp underneath so complaints about the floor don't bother me. Paid somewhere around $650...was expensive at the time but I understand you can find it for substantially less now. |

This is a very nice tent that Sets up easily and is high quality. My last tent was a Coleman, it cost about $130 on sale and lasted 1.5 summers before the zippers gave way. I was carefull to pay attention to the zippers on this tent, and they are very heavy duty. The floor is thinner than I would like. Eureka recommends that you purchase their floorsavers to lay underneath this tent. I paid an additional $20 for the floor savers and threw them away the first time I used this tent. The floorsavers are nothing more than a sheet of plastic. You still need to buy something for the bottom of this tent however. I would recommend purchasing a tarp. The center height on this tent is 7'', and the walls are nearly vertical, so you can stand in this tent easily. I wish Eureka would take the lead of cheaper tent manufacurers such as Coleman and make their floors out of Tarp material so a separate floorsaver or tarp would not be required.
