Strength:
Been paddling my Carolina 14.5 for two years now, w/o rudder, and enjoying it as a day tripper, and short weekend camp outs on Maine islands, and the Gulf of Mexico shore. It's stable, tracks pretty well, and takes rough seas adequately. It is not fast, but it is very comfortable. suspension repair Weakness:

Review for the Manta 7 Great tent. This tent is for the car camping with the wife and dogs and has plenty of space. Rain-fly is easy to put on in a hurry, and there are lots of pockets for storage inside. One of the first times using, we had major storms which badly bent my buddies Mountain Hardware tent, and the Mantra held up perfect. For the price you can get this tent, it is a great deal. It's not going to be the lightest and it's not meant to be taken to Mt Everest, but it's performance is up there with much higher priced tents. Highly recommend this tent. This review is for the Mantra 7. I couldn't find a category of it's own so I am posting the review here. This is the first tent I ever bought. I was concerned about it leaking,so my wife and I set it up in about 20 minutes (which isn't bad since all I did was watch the saleman set one up). We has some very strong thunder storms coming through our area, so I though it would be a good test. It was quite a test. 40 mile an hour gusts, torrential down pours, downed trees and guess what, not a drop of water inside. I attribute this to the rain fly being all the way down to the ground. Plenty of storage pockets, flashlight holders, etc. 116 square feet of space. The overall construction is much better than the polyester tents. I strongly recommend this tent and would gladly buy another if I had to. Customer Service Have not had to use it yet but it does come with a life time warrenty. Similar Products Used: None |

This tent is easy to set and has pretty good lighting. It has three or four inside pockets for organizing your small gear, which is nice. Because the tent has an oval shaped floorprint, it is pretty good for tall people. The vestibule is small and really doesn't have much room for anything except shoes and boots. Since the door is on one side of the tent, it may become necessary to climb over the person nearest the door to exit the tent if you are the one sleeping away from it. Overall, it is a pretty good tent. Not spacious, but a good balance of value, room, weight, and durability. Customer Service No problems yet. Only set it up a couple of times so far.
