I purchased the Riverbend 3 last year. I have experienced many nights of severe rain in the Appalachian trail and also in southern West Virginia. This tent held up great in these conditions. I would recommend a footprint or a tarp to protect the bottom and prevent condensation on the floor. The seams are off the ground, which really helps to keep this tent waterproof. The only complaints I really have are with the rainfly and vestibule. The fly when attached sits very close to the mesh and often leaves condensation even when guyed out. The vestibule is of sufficient size, but is hard to get in and out of the tent. When the fly is wet, you will most likely get a little wet entering and exiting. For the most part I am very pleased with my purchase, especially for the $135 I spent. This is a great three season tent that is reliable and offers great ventilation. I recently purchased a Marmot Equinox tent, which I highly recommend too. Kelty is a very reputable company and you can''t go wrong their products.
