Moss Odyssey Expedition Tent Tents

Moss Odyssey Expedition Tent Tents

DESCRIPTION

A feature-rich, no-compromise, four-season tent--three identical poles provide uncomplicated setup. DAC Featherlite® poles provide more strength with less weight. Continuous pole sleeves spread tension over the entire tent for structural strength and maximum interior space. Two doors and skylight top provide plenty of cross-ventilation; all zip shut. High-tenacity, waterproof, UV-resistant polyester rainfly offers protection from the elements; large hooped vestibule adds plenty of space for gear. No-stress rainfly pull-outs provide even tension and are bar-tacked to provide stability and strength; reflective guyouts can be seen in the dark. When snow camping, use your skis in place of some of the stakes; stake loops are non-wicking and fully adjustable. Flashlight loops and gear storage pockets inside tent provide convenience. Zipgate® zippers are fully field repairable; worn sliders account for most zipper problems encountered. Easy Stuff tent bag offers easy packing: simply roll up your tent like a burrito and cinch it down with the two compression straps. Floor and rainfly seams are fully factory-taped for waterproof protection.

I love it! I wanted to get a single tent to do everything with. Hmm, don''t know why because I have two others. Anyway, this is about as good as it gets (particularly at this price). It is a little heavy 10 lbs but can be split between two folks and used for backpacking. Venting is great and it can be zipped all the way up in cold weather to protect against the elements. I got caught in a surprise late fall thunderstorm in North Carolin (high winds and all) even without guylines and being completely staked she held up like a champ. Spent 5 days in rainy weather in Michigan and not a single drop came in. The fly is tight as a drum head. From the outside it sometimes looks as if the fly is wetting through (dark spots from rain) but she is dry as a bone inside. I like the colors because lots of bright shiny sunlight can come through. The frame is very sturdy. I have not had to deal with a snow load yet but I expect it to hold up just fine. The sewing is impeccable and materials are top notch. I expect to have it for the next 15 years or so. Hands down the best tent I have ever owned.
