I bought four Slip tents for my troop thinking it was the same as my North Face, only cheaper. I think they are all going back to REI. (thank god for REI's great return policy) Tent is OK, but for boy scouts, it doesn't cut it. Similar Products Used: None |

I have been very satisfied with the Slip Tent. A good value. The tub floor, sturdy, self-standing design, and ease of raising are some of the tent's admirable points. The only problems I have are that the rain fly will sag and drip breath condensation, and it is on the heavy side of ideal weight. Overall, I would recommend it though. |

Great tent for the price. I have had the opportunity to use it recently and found it to be light and durable. After having several pieces of equipment eaten by rodents of some type, they ignored the tent completely. This made my girlfriend very happy. Customer Service No experience but the reputation is excellent. Similar Products Used: The North Face, Great Land |

excellent tent for the price. considerably light (about 6 lbs). Easy to set up especially if you bought the REI tarp sold for this model. Tent is rated 3 seasons, although I have done some snow camping with it, and it did its job. Similar Products Used: None |

The Slip tent is a cheap alternative to many other expensive tents. It offers many great features like a tub floor with taped seams, large vestibule and mediocre weight. Overall, the tent is a bit cramped for two full grown men, but bearable. I stayed inside mine during 12 hours of heavy rain and not too bad. The fly needs a spacer over the center section because it really sags and water drips right into the middle of the tent. Not as light as it could be. Customer Service REI is the goods--too bad the Provo store closed its doors last year, now I have nowhere to go for new toys! Similar Products Used: None |

This is a good tent for the money. Nothing really flashy about it, but easy to set up, nice and taut, and stable in the wind. I really like the mesh roof. I suggest you get the ground cloth that REI makes to fit the Slip Tent, as set up will be that much easier. Similar Products Used: None |
