Good, attractive tent. Very waterproof, and stands up well to gale force winds. We had it through almost blizzard conditions in the late Spring in Grand Tetons, and it was not even stressed. Reasonably roomy, although I don't know where you would put any gear if you had 5 people in the tent. Easy for one person to set up. Realistically, it is a very good choice (caveat the complaints below) for perhaps as many as three people, used as a car tent or even as a backpacking tent. A nice water-tight tent. I've slept 4 adults comfortably with most of the gear in the vestibule, and it sleeps 2 adults and 3 kids with all their gear comfortably. It handles major downpours and decent winds very well. It's a very poorly designed fly in terms of access and egress, and can be quite a pain to set up. I think the CD stands for Computer Designed, and the computer didn't think too much about getting in and out of the tent. It really can't be used without being staked out. Customer Service We trashed the zippers after a week camping on an incline that had us sliding against the doors. Sierria Designs replaced them for free with no questions asked. |

A big tent but actually can backpack with it, considering its very comfortable for a family of 4 (under 3 pounds per person). Due to large floor size, can be tricky finding a site. I had problems with the fly. I seam sealed twice but still had leakage under moderate to heavy rain. See customer service comments. Customer Service Sierra took my leaky fly back. I expected it to be replaced but they only retreated it. I don't know if the service actually worked yet as it hasn't been used in the rain since. Similar Products Used: None |

Pretty easy to set up but an extra pair of hands makes it much easier. Very roomy with a nice vestibule. Enough space for a family of 5 with small children and 4 adults would be comfortable though space for gear would be limited. Quite light for it's size. I have not had any problems with keeping water out. A bit pricey. Customer Service No service experience. Similar Products Used: Sierra Designs Clip-3 CD |

A roomy tent that my wife and I use for car camping. For two people it is a luxury. It is aesthetically pleasing and very functional.I haven't used it in the rain yet. Similar Products Used: I used a big canvas tent in the past. Needless to say there is no comparison. |
