I winter camp and wanted a tent that I wouldn't have to worry about blowing down - this is it. One morning we awoke to a 40 mph ground blizzard but the tent was standing strong even without any external guy-lines or the internal guy-lines (which really turn this thing into a building). I replaced all of the metal zippers with noise-less zipper-pulls (now standard) so that I could sleep. If you can get this thing on sale, you won't be sorry. Customer Service Had a pole-tip fall out on me somewhere and SD would have replaced it but I did it myself instead for 85 cents. Similar Products Used: None |

Great tent, good ventilation, very light and very roomy. This is a serious tent. leaves you plenty of room in the vestibule to put you gear and wet boots. Can be tricky to set up in the dark and it is quite expensive @ 5 hung(hunn-zj). Customer Service Small fee and mailing items out is a pain in the a$$ Similar Products Used: Sierra Designs and Quest(good and cheap) |

i've had this tent for a number of years and have used it in all sorts of conditions. in winter, it's especially nice, as it feels loads warmer in it's roomy interior than it does outside. it's a little on the heavy side though, which is a pain in the ass in summer, but not as annoying in winter. a great tent overall! |
