Weakness:
None I have mixed feelings about this tent. On one hand it is very light and very packable, easy to set up, and somewhat free of condensation buildup with the fly zipped up, but i am 6''0" and i barely fit in this thing. I have to scoot way up into the front area that gets smaller and smaller leaving very little headroom so that my feet dont touch the wall of the tent. Thats my only quip, if it only had a few more inches in its length to fit us taller? backpackers then it would be an ideal and extremely comfy tent. Similar Products Used: crappy wolfcreek tent |

This is a good lightwieght tent if it fits your needs. It your looking for lightweight I would just recomend a Bivy Bag, but if you have to have a tent this is the one. The poles seem too long the first time you put it together. Just be gentle and stretch the fabric. The tent has just enough room for you and a couple of small items. Don't plan on putting all your gear in the vestible, because its only big enough to put your hiking boots. I took this tent to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and it served me well, but I'm just going to us an OR Bivy Bag with Pouncho Tarp. Similar Products Used: Kelty Flight Backpack |

Extremely light and provides more warmth and protection from the insects than a tarp. But it's quite small. The length fit me fine (I'm only 5'1"), but I don't see how anyone over 5'10" would be able to fit in this comfortably. And, not being freestanding really decreases the number of places and ease of staking the tent down. I guess that's the tradeoff for the weight reduction. Overall this is a decent tent and a good alternative to a tarp. Similar Products Used: None |
