Strength:

It's perfect for two persons with indoor vestibules for both. Don't worry about any storms that may pop up. This tent has proven to me many times how much of a bomb shelter this tent really is. Exterminator Services

I got this tent from a friend, as he was looking for a new one. This tent is the best tent I have ever owned. 3 Season but should be a 4 season. I live in the four corners and have camp through many rain storms and snow storms with four plus inches and it has never let a sip of anything in before. I love this tent! I just bought a new foot print for it since I rip the last one.

Customer Service

Have had to send it in one time for a rip in the screen because of a dog tring to break in. North Face took care of it.

I have used this tent for many years and many situations. I have been in some of the worst weather immaginable here in Florida. i have never been wet inside this tent. When properoy staked out, it withstands more wind that I do. The two vestibles are fantastic. Keep your sand out and any wet items. They stay covered and accesable even when raining. Without the fly, you have a fantastic view of the sky. This tent has been very good to me as I have to it. I have only had to change the shock cord in the poles so far. Everything else has held up prefectly.

Customer Service

Never needed to. Nothing has gone wrong.

Absolutely wonderful tent - the folks at TNF outdid themselves on this one. I've been using mine on backpacking and canoe trips since 2003, and it's proven to be a solid tent. Low profile makes it great for high winds, the dual vestibules are perfect (one for my pack, one for my boots and such), and it has held up very well. Speaking as a backpacker, it's a bit on the heavy side if you're carrying it solo, but the perfect 2-person shelter.

My wife and I picked up the last peregrine at our store in Winnipeg, MB and it was a steal. We have taken our 6 month old daughter camping in the Gulf Islands and I have taken it out camping in Manitoba winters, around -30, and did fine. Sleeping without the fly is amazing on those starry nights and we have thoroughly enjoyed our 'first home'!

Sad that TNF has stopped making this tent. It embodies everything I wanted in a tent...plenty of convenient space inside the tent to get to stuff, and room outside the tent, but under the fly, to keep muddy boots out of the rain, but out of the tent. A friend and I each got one for cheap when REI had it on clearance. If you do come across one (eBay) snag it. Worth noting, you probably wont be able to find a footprint, but one of the REI brand footprints -I think for their Half Dome tent- fits pretty well.

Good tent overall. I''ve taken it on a few solos (a little heavey for such use) including a springtime jaunt to Humboldt Peak. It holds up well to wind and snow if properly staked out. The vestibules leave lots of room for gear when sleeping. Sets up quickly! 2 things that I dislike - the footprint does not match up as well as I would expect it to. When staked out, the hammerhead design creates a "raised" pull acroos the floor. This is really no big deal, especially when using pads, but just something I noticed.

This tent is great for 2 people, you can even sleep 3 in a bind. Plenty of room with 2 people with extra room for gear. Very east to set up and move if needed. The only complaint I would have is that its a little heavy for solo but great if 2 people are sharing loads, sometimes have trouble with fly zippers getting snagged. Good buy at $220-240 range, any thing more than that its overpriced. Check around online and find last years mod is your best bet.
