The pole is compact and lightweight. It is suprisingly strong even with someone of my size and has proven itself very versatile. Its good looks and functionality always seem to make it a topic of conversation with others I have met on the trail. So far the only thing I have to complain about is the multimed grip being uncomfortable sometimes on long hikes. They now offer a more conventional style grip that looks to be a better option.
