Actually the dimensions listed above for this item are for the large Petzl Skyhook. The small one's dimensions are on the listing for the large hook...Anyways, this Petzl hook is another great addition to your aid rack. It is shallow and pointed. I often use it to hook on top of blown large copperheads since its point bites into the deadhead. The only drawback is the sewn sling, as it is rigged backwards, thus not allowing the load to be as close to the rock as would be possible otherwise. Simple solution is to cut off the sewn sling and rerig it. Otherwise, it's a great hook.
