Have the New Classic. Great for general mountaineer. Very flexible in terms of usage - able to fit them on downhill ski boots and leather hiking boots.

i used these crampons during the 2000 elm tree climb in jersey city. kick ass performance for those huge freaking overhanging knots. also, they work really well for pushing cars out of the ditch in winter conditions. the only downfall is they are a hot pink color and need to be toned down. very good though!!

About the best crampons you'll find, assuming you use the for general mountaineering and not waterfall ice. Crampons can't be perfect for both. I have the plastic bail in front, which allows me to wear them with either my invernos or my leather boots.

Made by Grivel in Italy. They've been great for general alpine use. I've taken them on gully climbs and Rainier. The front points feel too awkward for waterfall ice in my opinion. The flat profile of the body greatly reduces balling (an anti-bot plate is available). Very easy to put on and off. They survive wear and tear very well.

Grivel G12 ClimbHigh is just the importer.
Great all around crampons. I've done Mt.Rainier, Whitney, Tetons, ect. in these and loved them. I've also done vertical water fall ice and they felt as good as the Rambo's.
