An excellent well-rounded harness, that is great for beginners and veterans alike. Fits and generally feels better (when suspending) than entries from Black Diamond or Wild Country. While climbing, you'll almost swear you're not even wearing the harness, which gives you more freedom of movement without the constrains of feeling the harness when you extend. Well worth the money!

Well constructed. Falling in this harness feels great. I like the elastic leg loops. The targa is well padded. Its comfortable enough for long climbs. So far it looks to be pretty durable. I can't decide if I will buy another Targa or try out the more expensive vapor next time. I can't see how you could much improve on this harness however, especially 30 bucks worth!

excellent harness. comfortable with excellent foam. Leg loops are elastic (sort of) and fit extremely well, just make sure you try it on for size (they run big). Very soft catch with falls. My favorite thing about the harness is that it puts most of your weight on the leg loops and less on your waist. This is the proper way a harness should fit, and arcteryx does it better than any other harness I've worn. It's not worth the extra money for the Vapor unless you're a hardcore weight concious sport climber...the targa is everything you'll ever need. one more thing, HANG IN THE HARNESS IN THE STORE...it's the only way you can compare.

Used this harness for cragging almost a year now. It has always been comfortable and has always kept me off the ground. The gear loops are ample and the tie-in points are reinforced against abrasion which has helped this harness last longer than my other one. Arc-teryx makes quality products.

great all-around climbing harness. rugged. comfortable when toproping or when loaded with gear. only drawback i have found is the buckling system. i would prefer a wider strap, or a longer strap. aftermany uses, the strap may start fraying at the tips. just a little thing to be cautious of. overall, i have been very happy with this harness.

My first harness, purchased for a climb of Mt. Rainier last year (summitted June 21st--hoo ahh!).

This harness fit well and was very comfortable while hanging for several minutes in a crevasse (training only, not a "combat rescue"). It was a also comfortable to wear on the ascent and was easy to put on and take off. Would like to see adjustable leg loops, but the elastic-shocked loops work fine for me.

The quality of this product makes it "bomber" in my book. I'm sure I'll own this harness for a good number of years.

I'm athletically built 6'1"/220# and had to buy the XL size--I'm assuming the majority of climbers are skinny guys (TNF stuff looks good on them, too), but where does a guy larger than me turn?
