a good value. relatively light, add-yer-own-damn-gear-loops, no-frills harness for the non-pansy (read no padding). drop leg loops are cool, but i prefer a belay loop for those times when i'm too tired to think straight. for ice, tool holsters interfere w/ the gear loops, so i can't recommend this harness for the cold and bold, unless you enjoy difficulty getting to yer screws when gripped.

hard to beat this harness for the money. easy and straight forward to put on. I use this harness when instructing people, because of its low cost, durability and ease of use. great harness for the beginner and the occasional top-rope.

Customer Service

depending on the shop's relationship w/ BD, I've found the service to be pretty good w/ relatively quick turn around.

A good value in a basic harness. The lack of padding makes for a bit of discomfort in a rappel or sitting in the harness. I'd recommend it for those needing an alpine harness for protection but I'd get something with wider webbing to use in climbing. Adjustability is lacking so make sure you get one that fits properly. The leg loops seem too large for thin people.
