I love this harness and use it for sport climbing. I really like the features and all the loops. One drawback is the leg loops are a little small for someone with larger thighs. (to many years running track)

I really love this harness for its comfort and functionality. The harness is suitable for both sport climbing and mountaineering. Due to the generous padding, the harness is comfortable hanging on sport routes or from hanging belays. The harness is also light enough and has adjustable leg loops to be used on alpine climbs. This harness fit me where similar ones from Metolious and REI did not. I got this on sale, so my value rating is pretty high.

Two bad points: Although there are four gear loops, they could be a little larger. The stitching on the front belay loop tends to catch where the leg loops run through. Not a big deal, but not perfect.

I bought this harness about 5 years ago (I've since retired it). I used it primarily for rock climbing and some gym climbing (although I took it on a caving trip before I retired it). Excellent harness, the padding is great, and not too soft so it won't cut into your back if you hang in it for a while. Lots of room on the gear loops and just a real comfortable, yet not restrictive design. Could also drop the leg loops which proved handy at times I mostly used it for nice, sunny cragging so the fitted leg loops were no problem. But for my next rock climbing harness I will get one the BD harness which is exactly like this one except that it has adjustable leg loops to allow for more layers of clothing...

bought this harness 1 mth ago to replace my beal arizona. great mountaineering harness, great comfort with lots of gear loops for the big walls. great for both rock and sport climbing.

Excellent harness. I bought this harness to replace the Misty Mountain harness that I had to retire...I'm glad I did. After trying out many different harnesses I picked the BD for it's comfort, durability and reputation. You can't go wrong with this one.
