This isn't intended for the beginner or the folks doing long climbs, its light, its hot, its light, its not going to take many nocks couse it is light, but its light.
For the price this is the lightest thing around, if thats your thing
It has foam padding inside instead of a webbing harness, as a result it makes it very hot to wear. There are a couple of vents in it but they are more for decoration.
The shell is very light and wont take to many hits but looks cool. It also comes with clips to hold torch straps witch is a plus
Over all a nice sport hat
