Review of Pagan Mountaineering of Moab. Full explanation given at www.paganmountebank.com This company violated consumer protection laws, as well as mail fraud laws in my encounter with them. Watch your wallets around these guys. They stole $607.00 from me, which was for a pair of Millet Everest boots. |

A basic ice axe, heavy for what it is but a good cheap one if your on a budget. The Pins that held the spike in on my axe fell out and I had to replace them with a home modification. The axe was a pain in the butt to sharpen. Customer Service Delt directly with then, Great service before OP bought 'em out Similar Products Used: Grival Air Tec Race |

Great mountaineering Axe. Has everything I need and nothing I don't. Cast head is comfortable and the swing weight is good. Can't find a better axe for the price. Similar Products Used: None |

Used this, my first ice axe, for a trip to Glacier Peak and Mt. Rainier last year. There were less expensive axes available, but bought this one (70mm) because I was told it was a little more durable. Clearly it was a bit heftier than the almost too-lightweight Grivel axe that one of my climbing buddies had. The couple of extra ounces in the shaft and adze gave it a good swing feel and nice balance in the hand. Good axe for the money. Hard to see why you'd spend more unless you were going vertical.
