My first pair of plastic boots, I'm very impressed with the comfort and fucntion of these. I never thought I'd need anything in excess of my Scarpa SLM3s but I'm a convert. I recently used them on a 3 day spring backpacking trip. My friends gave me hell about them but when their leather boots were all full of water these kept my feet very warm, they were wishing they had a pair by the end. Also work great for snowshoeing and any winter activity. I've only had them 6 months but these will be seeing lots of use in the future. Customer Service Haven't needed any service. Similar Products Used: Only heavy duty leather boots, Scarpa. |

For the money the Para is an excellent value. I have used mine to chase dall sheep around the Chugach Mountains for two years. I probibly have at least 150 days of use on this pair. With a pair of glaceir socks available from Barney's Sports Chalet, they are as good a pair of waders as money can buy As a professional guide my equiptment is critical. I have learned to trust this boot. Unfortunatly at this time they are on there last leg, and I don't know what to replace them with. Aparently Koflach has stoped production of the Para. I personally can not get past the PUKE induceing colors of there other boots. Similar Products Used: None |

Took these boots on a ten day trip to Orizaba. They were comfortable right out of the box and kept my feet warm in the -20 degree glacier travel and summit run. Easy to lace, and easy to get on and off, they held crampons well too. |
