I recently purchased a pair of alta tcy's and am more than happy with them. The break-in period was negligble and the waterproofness lives up to the manufacturers guarantee, so far.I have always climbed in leather boots and after having them re-soled a couple of times the norwegen welt never seems to keep the dampness out no matter how much I tried to seal them.
