Fantastic shoe. After climbing for 6 six years and trying several shoes, the Equinox has been my favorite. My pair is now worn out but I still continue to use them because nothing else feels so good. It's an excellent crack/trad shoe as the laces don't start as far down the toe box as most shoes and the sole is quite stiff. All day comfort is also a huge plus for these shoes. Edging is great when the shoe is new and not all rounded out like my worn out pair, again because of the shoes stiffness. By a pair, they are sweet!

This was the first climbing shoe I bought in a store, although it was the second one I own...It is very good as it gives me a lot of stability when stepping on very tiny edges, and my feet doesn't hurt after a climbing day. It works great on rock as it is very rigid, specially when you're a begginer, but this is also its mayor problem, as I don't get much feeling of where I'm standing, and I can't bend my feet too much. Also, its tip is very sharp, so it's sometimes difficult to rotate my foot on a small hold without taking it away.

This is an extremely comfortable shoe, great for edging. These were my first pair of climbing shoes, and the only complaint is that smearing and feel for the rock is minimal. I like bouldering and gyms, so i have since gotten a pair of slippers.

It is my first pair of Rock shoes the store I purchased them in has a rock wall so I tried several shoes on the wall before I bought them. The salesman suggested I try to Edge each shoe on the tiny horizontal lip where two panels came together (much much smaller than any of the holds.) There were some other shoes I tried on that REALLY REALLY hurt my feet that I was able to edge better with but these edged well and were still comfortable. I would say these are a good all day shoe maybe they would have edged as well and hurt as much if I had gone another size down but I didn't I am glad. they are working great for me
