Not sure if I did the conversion correctly but I paid $130 CDN for these shoes. I have to agree with most of the reviews here. It's a really good shoe for experienced climbers on shorter sport routes and bouldering. But I sized down 1.5 sizes and if I'm working a longer route, I sometimes have to give up because my feet just hurt too much. (I know -- how lame of me.) Keep that in mind when trying them on -- they don't stretch very much at all. Similar Products Used: Five Ten Moccasyms |

A really great shoe for short sport routes and bouldering. I read all the reviews here before I bought these and IMHO, these ARE NOT FOR TRAD! Customer Service None Similar Products Used: Boreal Zepher |

These are absolutely the best shoes I have ever bought. I've been using them for 2 years and they still feel like new. Easy to "break in" and heel doesn't hurt like some former shoes of mine. A huge difference from my rock socks. I use them for bouldering, sport climbing, indoor, and trad and they work well for all of them. If you dont have these shoes...GET THEM! You'll thank me. Customer Service Five Ten's customer service is very cooperative and helpful. Similar Products Used: Boreal Spirits |

Great shoe. I used it indoors and outdoors (sports climbing and bouldering). Some people seem to have problems with the velcro fastening system (they say they don't "trust" the shoes), but to be honest, I trusted these shoes most of all I had. The only drawback are the small slip-in loops. Indoors I didn't feel much difference to the Miura I had before, but outdoors they really kicked me a few grades higher :-) I would recommend to not buy this as the first shoe, but as the second one it is great. I bought them two times, then I thought it was time for a change. Similar Products Used: BOREAL Ace, Vector, Stinger |

These are really nice shoes. I have been climbing for over nine years and these are the best I have used. They have a very comportable fit compared with most other rock shoes. And the friction is greater than other manufactureres. The velcro if nice but occationaly gets hooked up on the rock (and yes I have trimed it), and comes undone, however that is rare. i have seen climbers with realy narrow feet battle with the velcro as there is not enough to get purchase. I have wider feet and the fit well. Similar Products Used: La Sportiva: Kendo's |

I bought these used from a friend at the climbing gym, and they have been the best fifty bucks I've ever spent. These shoes work great. Perfect amount of sensitivity with plenty of support and the stickiest rubber. Plus in my opinion these are the coolest looking climbing shoes around. One of my feet is slightly smaller that the other and with the velcro I can't tighten the toe area at all on the smaller foot, so I want to try the lace up version. But this is just nit picky, there are still the best shoes ever. Similar Products Used: Five Ten Hueco(my first pair) |

These are probably the most precise things i have ever worn. The only problem is that for them to be precise they (for me) need to be precise. They've worn quite quickly aswell but that might be because the stealth rubber is so sticky. Good all round boot, but i'd prefer to not have used them for long routes. They are best for bouldering and sport routes where they can be taken off. Similar Products Used: None |

ASCENT'S- The ascents are a good all around shoe, the do everything about average. These are not the most technical shoes(they are too comfy for that). I have used mine mostly in the gym, and they are ok for that...I think they would be best for all day routes. The fit is a little lose and the heels flop around on heel-hooks(my feet are narrow). They will stretch about a half a size so take it into consideration. Great first shoe. I am planning on buying some anasazi's(I boulder LOTS!), but i'll keep the ascents for those multi-pitches. |

These shoes are great and I sized mine at what I had previously sized my climbing shoes. They are tight on the inner heal for a while and may cause some abrasion but when the shoes get "broken in" they are great. Stealth rubber is great as always. Compared to my last shoes which were Climbingshoes.com Firewalls these are better, however I do prefer unlined leather as opposed to the synthetic lined "cowdura". I do recommend these to anyone looking for a great shoe, however begginers need not spend as much money and should look for a cheaper shoes (my Firewall's were only $50.00 and did fine for my first pair). Customer Service Haven't needed it yet but I hear good things. Similar Products Used: Climbingshoes.com Firewalls |
