Overall, a very good, multi-purpose shoe, famous 5-10 Stealth C-4 rubber is still the grippiest tread on the market, have held up well for several years, extremely comfortable ("wear 'em all day" comfort); only downside is lack of rubber on sides of heel (not good on heel hooks)

Great shoe. As they say, its all about the last, and 5.10 just seems to fit me better than anyone. So far they are holding up really well. In the gym they the slip last starts to lead to tired feet, but outside they give really good feel of the rock and the rubber sticks like crazy.

An excellent all round shoe. The leather uppers means it stretches quite a bit, so buy at least 1 size smaller than you think you'll need. This means the shoe will be painfully tight for the first couple climbs, thereafter it'll fit perfectly. The Stealth C4 rubber is the best I've used, it beats the rubber on La Sportiva and Boreal hands down. But then again, it depends on your style of climbing. It's over priced, that's my major complaint.

La Sportiva and Boreal. The former is good but not sticky enough, the latter is good but not long lasting enough. Five-Ten is sticky and long lasting. Go Figure:)

Great shoes. They fit my feet perfectly and the C4 grips like nothing else. Maybe a little pricey. 5-10 just came out with a very similar shoe that's $25 cheaper, check 'em both out.

I brought a pair of 5-10 Huecos on sale, and as a beginner I was skeptical about the necessity of climbing shoes. These have proven me wrong!

These shoes have the best comfort to grip ratio of any I tried. They grip well without causing extreme foot discomfort.
