Awesome 5.10 rubber, fantastic idea for a shoe, great to toe hook and do other funky stuff with, hooking ability etc, loads of rubber, but that heel simply does not fit, buy em small or big, whatever, the heel doesn't seem to fit. A real bummer as this is the best idea for a shoe in ages. Bring back the UFO!!!

I loved the look of the shoe but they're so tight I had to buy a 12 even though I wear a 11-11.5 street shoe.
Have not used them yet but my buddy likes his lace up version.

The Rock Sock was very hard to break in, but after they were broken in I found them to be the best shoe I've ever used! I've tried Mythos,Stingers, and Scarpas and the Rock Sock puts them all to shame! I recommend them to all of my friends that can overcome the first two weeks of pain!

It was really tight and painful at first but broke in fairly quickly. I REALLY like the way they climb. They are very precise and solid feeling on foot placements. It has become my everyday shoe (for sport routes. The one drawback is that they are quite warm and make my feet sweat (and smell).

It´s a super-ultra-hiper-mega-power precision climbing shoe! I agre it doesn´t seem to fit, and I think it´s not recommended for long paths, but it is simply the best.

I got these shoes for dirt cheap up in Canada (they don't carry them anymore). I was considering Stingers, but my foot is too wide for that design.

Generally I am very happy with them. Things I love: toe hooking is awesome, rubber is great (for indoors). Things I like: tongue design and coverage of rubber.

Downside: they don't seem very rugged- I've poked through toe sooner than I'd expect, and had to resole fairly frequently. These are also the smelliest shoes I've ever come across (that can only be partially the shoe's fault).

For a gym shoe, I don't think you can do much better- for outdoors, I don't think they have the longevity to spend >$100 on.

Cheers

I got a pair of rock socks about a month ago and I have used them alot so far and I love them because they have a very unique toe that can lock onto anything, also they have great pulling power for overhangs plus edging is good. The only thing I do not like about these shoes is that they just won't smear because they are to stiff but other than that I love them and I would highley recomend them to any body.

the only good thing i can say about these shoes is they look cool. everything else sucks. i have had these shoes for about 6 months and they have already fallen apart. they became delaminated, and needed to be resoled. also the rand was blown in the front from only regular weekend use. if anyone wants my opinion these shoes SUCK. my friend has had the same pair of shoes for about the same length of time as me and his are also having the same problems. as i have never tried another five ten product i wont say anything bad about the company.
