I decided to try these shoes because of their unique design, even though I could not find any reviews of them. My gamble paid off! I am an average-width mens''s size 10.5; and these babies fit like a glove when I bought that exact size. Because the upper is synthetic, they supposedly do not stretch like leather ones do, so there was no need to by smaller. They are tight, and not that comfortable to stand around in, but they feel great on the rock - and that''s what counts! The C4 Stealth rubber provides great friction for smearing; and the straight edge that runs along the big toe is fantastic for edging. And finally, the zipper and the dual pull-on loops provide quick, convenient entry and exit. Since I do not buy products that contain leather, I was very fortunate to find an all-synthetic shoe that performs so well.
