I agree with the others. A good all-around shoe for the beginner. I have pretty wide feet, and they fit well. They do stretch like crazy, so be sure you fit them tight. Similar Products Used: None |

I hate to be the only one disagreeing with the crowd, but I purchased a pair, and they fell apart prematurely. Granted the shoes were not too expensive, they still did not offer the performance I would expect from La Sportiva. Similar Products Used: 5.10 Anasazi Velcro |

These are the best shoes out there for beginning climbers. They out-perform all beginning shoes and even compete with some of the more advanced shoes. They edge nicely, have good sensitivity, but smearing is not what they excell in. They are really nice for people like me who have wide feet since they are designed wider at the front of your feet. One of the best looking shoes out there too, even though that really doesn't matter (at least the new ones, not the older orange) Similar Products Used: Boreal Diablo's, La Sportiva Focus, 5.10 Spires |

This was my first shoe and a very good beginner slip-lasted shoe for the gym. It does tend to stretch, so make sure that it is a very tight fit when you get a pair. They smear fairly well and you feel everything, but since they are slip-lasted, they don’t edge well. It's a good all purpose shoe at a good price. |
