awesome shoe. my personlal favorite shoe ive ever worn, and ive worn just about every aggressive shoe out there. at first the shoe is very tight, but once you break them in, they feel like you are wearing a comfortable pair of socks. this is because it is all leather on the inside, and there are no seams to be uncomfortable against your skin. the edging is amazing and the sensitivity is unreal; it is like climbing barefoot. amazing bouldering shoe, and awesome sportclimbing shoe. the best feature is the light weight. befire these i used the 5.10 v10's and i thought i found the perfect shoe, becaue it was so light weight. then i tried the mantra and was blown away with the lightness; both mantras weigh less than one v10, and that is the 2nd lightest shoe out there. very pleased with the shoe Similar Products Used: 5.10 moccasym, v10, anasazi lace up, anasazi velcro, dragon. la sportiva katana red chili habeneros |

I've tried the Mnatra. Its a very good shoe and very comfortable for bouldering and straight wall climbs. The sole is thin, so its easy to feel all the holds and crags. Customer Service never dealed with laSportiva before. Products of good quality. Similar Products Used: none other than climbing shoes |

Mantra is a very good shoe when climbing on small nibs. You stick to almost anything. The drawback maybe the softness and the thin sole. But a fantastic bouldering shoe.To compare with other slippers it is very soft so you can feel every litle crack or bump in the surface. ( it has to be re-solen often while climbing on konglomerat) You may get some cramps in the start.I have used it while going a lot of short problems up to straight 7 (norwegian grade) Customer Service I have never been dealing with La Sportiva first hand, but the quality of their equipment speaks for it self. Similar Products Used: I have only tried the Mythos also from La Sportiva, and an old five10 modell, wich I have forgotten the name of. |
