I bought the Turbos on sale without knowing much about them. They turned out to be one of the best shoes I've ever used. They fit my foot like a glove and even after long periods of wear and some sweaty conditions I was able to tighten them up by re-lacing. They also wear very well, which I think is a plus for all Scarpa models. Great smearing, edging, crack climbing. Used it both indoors and out and performed well in both conditions. Probably the best shoe I have ever used. Amazing on every rock type and style, awesome on long granite pitches and perfect for steep slabbing. I find the heel a bit roomy, but compared to something like the Bamba they are snug. These suit all styles of climbing from rough granite bouldering through to slippery Alpine rock (I have used them on all), I have sent many hard routes and problems in this shoe over the last 3 years and can say that they are as good as any slipper out there...listen up all you Sportiva fans. All I can say is Scarpa are unreal...please bring out a Velcro version :) Customer Service Best in the business :) Black Diamond baby...what else do you need to know?! I think they are discontinued now so if you can find some that fit...buy em!! Similar Products Used: La Sportiva Kaukulators and Mythos, I guess Stingers are kinda similar...maybe not. Uncomparable...Turbos are in a class of their own! I've used heaps of shoes and these are the best I have ever used. |

I rented these shos at a climbing gym, they had a better feel than anything I've tried before (and I've tried lots). They were more comfortable than I expected for a shoe of their caliber. They didn't let me down once. Similar Products Used: lots of 5.10 products, some Boreals, maybe a few others. |

The Turbo is one of the best climbing shoes that I have ever used. Awesome rubber, brilliant edging, top quality semearing and comfort!!!. I used these shoes on routes upto French 7c+ (5.13a)and boulder problems upto v9 and they never let me down. Totally reccommended Similar Products Used: None |
