Had this rope for about 9 months until it was stolen. Had to buy new rope. Bought the BD hotline. Found the sonic to be a better rope than my new one. Wear is about the same. Staic elongation is alot better on this rope, but I would recommend all BD products since I haven't had any trouble with them so far.

This is a new rope this year. So far (8 trips) it has been a great rope. Good handling characteristics and wear. I bought the multi color (non dry) and have been using it ice climbing. It has been a warm wet year and the rope has not absorbed too much water on the climbs. The 9.9 dia. has not been a noticeable difference from my 10.5 as far as feel and handling.
