This was one of the first ropes that I ever got and I would stand behind it any day. The good things, it is tough, if you do alot of toproping I would pick this up exspecally if you are from the northeast where there is alot of granite and it can be very sharp. Also it is very reliable, I had a few big falls on it when I started to do lead and even though it is alittle heavy it was great I alwas felt secure. Down side, heavy, no question about that and 11mm can get caugt in so belay devices. Over all great rope.
