Excellent ropes, unbelievably water resistant (bone dry). An all-women's expedition to Mt. Queen Mary dragged their rope through slush for 30 days and reported it never got damp. Similar Products Used: None |

Esprit makes great ropes. This little company out of Parry Sound Ontario is cranking out ropes that match or exceed the quality of the big American and European names. I have yet to put a ton of miles on my sportser, but it's wearing extremely well, and the really tight sheath weave makes it a really nice handling rope. The rope was not sold to me as a "Dry" rope, but it seems not to soak up much water. I think Esprit may dry treat all of their ropes, and then double treat the one's actually sold as "dry." I'm not positive on that but it's worth checking out by giving them a call. One interesting thing about Esprit ropes is that they're mostly white or white with a single colour strand woven into the sheath. This is great, because you can tell when your rope is disgustingly dirty and needs to be cleaned, also, virgin white untreated nylon is 3-5% stronger than nylon that has beend dyed a fancy colour. Cool eh? Customer Service Very friendly staff. Similar Products Used: Bluewater |
