I have the 60m version, bought on discount at a sale. It's seen about 6 months constant service so far on a number of surfaces. Not as bombproof as the 11mm Strong, but much lighter on lead. Had a tendency to coil and knot when brand new, but thankfully has worked it out of it's system.

A great rope for the abuse dealt out by big wall climbing. It is the only competition out there for the Edelweiss Stratos, both of which pass the dreaded 90 degree edge test. While this rope was quite stiff at first, it broke in after a few walls and has a great hand now. The sheath has stood up remarkably well, even under the stress of hauling and jugging. It still looks quite new. But quality doesn't come cheap. The rope is pretty expensive, but then again, I think it's worth every penny.

the roca cordes, tasmania is an excellent lead rope. the sheath is very durable, the rope has somewhat stiff hand that i personally prefer, and it has the added bonus of being one of only two ropes made that pass the fall test over an edge. research the manufacturer's info on this test. it is the same as the edelweiss stratos.
