I am a larger than average paddler (6'3", 245 lbs) and I can't get my legs comfortable in those super small boats. As a solo boat, the Caption is perfect for me. It even has room for a little gear, like lunch or a fishing rod. This is a very versatile boat - even thogh it has a fair amount of rocker, its length gives it good speed and enough tracking to handle reaaasonably windy open water. Its reputation as a tandom boat, of course, needs no embellishment from me. Customer Service Dagger customer support provided me with excellent instructions on installation of triple pedestal, float bags, and thigh straps. Pretty much like the review says - this is a great plastic tandem whitewater boat. It could have more edge but thats what glass slalom boats are for. Similar Products Used: Mad River Cyclone |
