I''m about 75 kg.) Part of my enthusiasm for this board might be because my old board is well past its prime, and I''m going from 7-year-old beater to shiny new springy board. Maybe any new board would have done the job. With that caveat, I do really dig this board. Port St. Lucie semi truck repair Weakness:

Very stable on the landings also. I am not a park guy and believe that the board would be to stiff for rails or the pipe. I would definitely recommend to any freerider that likes to go fast. P.S.- Ladies love the wood!! Regina Exhaust system repair Weakness:

After owning a Nova 16 since 1999, I can say without reservation that this boat performs as well as many others I have paddled on flatwater. It is stable, dry and quick, and frankly, Mohawk's pricing can't be beat. The boat trims nicely when paddled tandem, and the addition of a 5 gallon jerry can full of lake or sea water trims the boat out when paddling it solo. Recently, I added the Mohawk center seat option, and the jerry can is now unneccesary. Using Mohawk's double bladed paddle adds even more speed. Large boat wakes can literally be ignored. The R-84 Royalite material is more than adequate for flatwater and after 4 solid years of use (Florida), only a few inconsequential scratches are evident. Like any plastic boat, keep her out of the sun when not in use and she will be your friend for many, many years. |
