Paddler

I've owned a Sport 14 for about five years now. I use it on class one and lower two rivers in the Ozarks. After two years, I had to put kevlar skid plates on it, and the d-rings won't stay glued down on the interior.(supposedly newer models have a different interior) It is very stable, however it's limited capacity (650 pds.) really limits me on extended float trips, especially if I'm with someone else. If I had it to do over again, I wish I had bought a M/R Explorer.

Customer Service

I contacted them about the d rings not sticking, and about having to put the skid plates on so soon. They told me that I should have bought the Intrepid instead of the Sport considering the rivers I do (I went on the recommendation of their local dealer, who's now out of business).
