The best advice that I can give about this board is as follows: Please don't try to catch me when I am on it. This board is fast and stiff. This board gives you the confidence to bomb down the mountain regardless of the terrain or conditions. Malden long distance towing Weakness:

This is one bada$$ board, and is worth the money. I was immediately better with this board. The edge sticks, and keeps sticking when powder goes to ice and back. It turns much faster than the size (166) would indicate. It's light, and stiff, and handles like a dream. Newport News commercial truck suspension repair Weakness:

The rubber-coated fabric is extremely durable. Being inflatable, this boat is very easy to store and transport, but on the water is not as fast as a rigid plastic kayak. Semi Truck Engine Repair Weakness:

The Helios 380x is a tough boat that sets up quickly and can be stored in a small space. I have used it on class I rivers, many lakes and in the ocean. Because of its small size I can take it with me when I travel. Comfortable for kids and Mommies. The storage compartments are very convenient. One problem though is the low weight payload. 180 kg just isn't big enough for two full size adults plus gear. Water gets in easily and doesn't drain so paddling pants of some kind are a must (or swimwear). The rudder has not been very useful for anything - until I rigged a handsail. The combination works very well and makes the Helios 380 really fun on even the windiest days. All in all a great all round family boat for people with limited space. The Innova Helios 380 ex is a durable kayak and great for flat water. But then again all floatationals are good for flat water. For rivers of class II, forget about it. It will fill up with water in a heart beat and very difficult to maneuver. Floated many rivers nonetheless since I already am stuck with it and spent $700. Luckily, still alive to talk about it. Also, it is not stiff so you can't carry gear in it during portage. Don't buy it, buy an aire product. You spend a bit more, but it is better than wasting 700 dollars on junk. I would return mine if rei would let me. Similar Products Used: aire, stern products. |

I have used this kayak as a solo and as a double, both in lakes and in the ocean and it works great. It's comfortable and fun to paddle. The rubber-coated fabric is extremely durable. Being inflatable, this boat is very easy to store and transport, but on the water is not as fast as a rigid plastic kayak. Customer Service I purchased this boat directly from the importer in Seattle. They shipped it to me quickly and for a reasonable amount. Similar Products Used: None |

This 30 lb kayak is great for lakes, level 1 or 2 rivers or very smooth salt water. Its low sides take in some water (spray skirts would help). I sold my Klepper and bought this kayak because it is quick to setup (15 min.), lighter, and can take abuse. It doesn't track like a real kayak (or klepper), but is good for short trips.
