Strength:

Punches through holes, has storage space, more stable than some others, and they’re really durable. Since it’s a little heavy and long, it’s good for those learning, especially to roll, or those transitioning skill sets.

Weakness:

A little big and heavy.

This was my first whitewater boat, and admittedly, I bought a boat from 1998 in 2016. I learned to roll in this boat, which is something that it does very easily. It is definitely a safe boat, and will punch through anything, but it is made for creeking and doesn't really play. That being said, I feel very comfortable in this boat and I am glad that I bought it. Definitely held up through the years and will take any abuse you give it. If you find one for $300 or below, I'd consider it a good buy. It is also heavy compared to more modern boats so if you have to hike with your boat and are a smaller paddler, maybe look for something else

Great boat. Very comfortable, better stability than a rodeo boat.

A big, safe boat. That said, it tends to drift instead of holding it's line (it has a displacement hull) and it's LONGGGG. At least by todays standards. But if you can get one cheap, it punches holes, resurfaces fast, and has plenty of storage for overnighters.
