Paddler

The best there is...Bought mine back in 1991 and it is still getting constant use. I have the wood blade with carbon shaft and it still gets a lot of attention from paddlers who can't believe how lightweight this paddle is.

The blade not only looks beautiful, it is extremely tough too. Mine has had lots of WW action (open boat and C1) as well as regular use tripping and is only just beginning to show some signs of needing a bit of new West System Epoxy.

The blade design, with its slight curve, is absolutely rock solid in water which can mean the difference between making an eddy or swimming. The lightweight of the whole paddle means I can easily keep up to the pace of my bow paddler's bent-shaft but enjoy the luxury of more steering control than with a bent shaft. For whitewater this paddle is a must.
