I really like this wetsuit. I am 5'4" tall and weigh under 125 pounds. I usually get a men's wetsuit because other brands of wet suits have too much curve built into their suits, leaving air pockets in the thighs. In order for a wet suit to work properly it needs to be tight enough to slow down the exchange of water through it and not create water pockets too. The relief zipper is great! I never had one before and will not go back to the no zipper style. (make sure your undergarmet is not tight fitting) I had to alter my arm hole. The fabric would bunch up between me and the pfd. I guess I am still smaller than average on top too. I usually need to perform this alteration regardless of brand. The only thing I would request of the manufacturer is that the ankle area fit tighter. There are zippers at the bottom of the leg so the fit could be tight fitting to the ankle and use the zipper to alow the heel to pop through. Yes, I have small ankles, but my "big boned" husband also experiences a large ankle fit with this manufacturer too. I will rate the suit high for the relief zipper, construction and general fit, but I will decrease the overall rating because of the large ankle fit (water exchange issue). Similar Products Used: I have used windsurfing wetsuits and general wetsuits before. They have been okay to good suits, none with the relief zipper option. |
