They Eagle performed very well in Adirondaks fairly steep climbing. I am 180lb with 50lb pack. Floatation was good when breaking trail, Stainless steel crampons a vast inmprovement over Aluminium of rental.
Binding lock froze up over 3 days, I removed and tied laces. I will also replace laces with less absorbent type.
Binding is adjustable to fit boot which prevents any forward movement.
When laced properly, little problem with losing shoe.

Great value. I have used these snowshoes to go deep into the Colorado Rockies in the middle of February and found them to be more than adequate. I found that they will handle loads well in excess of those published by the manufacturer. Light, durable, and most of all, functional.

These are the cheapo model of the bombproof RF blackhawk's and they will fall apart like you might expect (quickly). However, the design is great and they will perform well for the occasional light hikes.

Customer Service

They are really easy-going and will work with you
