As far as performance goes this stuff performs flawlessly. Wicks moisture nicely and is relatively comfortable to wear. The major drawback is that I got a crew neck instead of a zip tee which I really think you should have unless you are going to be using this exclusively as a base layer in colder climates where you won't need to strip down to just it. If you plan on hiking in just a base layer then this probably isn't for you because you'll fry and have no opportunity to vent. Another thing I don't really like is that the fabric doesn't go good with velco. Iv'e had it snag on velco on my overmitts and on my shell and it just pulls threads out like crazy. I can't really say a whole lot for the antibacterial stuff they use, but hey, I haven't really seen any that really work. Similar Products Used: None |
